Hey guys.
Now, its a know fact that I'm not the best for being "The Bigger Person", but, you know, I wanted to have a chat about it.
I know I'm argument prone. Matter of fact, no two which ways about it. This has, several times, caused me to lose things and people I care about. Greatly.
So tell me, how would you feel if you were someone like me: Constantly called names, bitched about, and always in the wrong. Somehow...
You may think I may be rather stuck up and stubborn about it all. I like to think I'm not.
The truth is, I like to live by the old morale of "treat others how you wish to be treated", except, maybe make a few "adaptions"
I like to think you're all aware that I go out of my way to help people. I try, and yet, seemingly, some people think my help isn't good enough for their friends, even if I'm simply offering it to them out of kindness. Seemingly, some people believe that they obviously, in their ever-based opinion, could do it better.
Now, I'm going to also apply the above moral to this situation. I hope, someday, she's able to see why I retaliate to her pathetic, childish behavior...
I guess I can just be the bigger person by growing up a little, and not making myself out to be some kind of savior, who, of course, even their friends tell me that she's changed.
Just a little insight to me atm.

The Pride Of Britain Awards
We hear a lot today about a Britain that is broken.
About a selfish nation riven with hate, greed and fear.
A Britain that is sliding into moral decay, with its citizens content to stand by and let community fall apart.
Anyone who believes that should have spent last night in London's Grosvenor House hotel, to witness a group of individuals whose dedication, love, and courage blow that theory out of the water.
And that reminds me why we need no apologies that we are proud to be British.
As ever, during the champagne reception and pre-ceremony dinner, eyes where all on the big stars - Cheryl Cole, Paul O'grady, Ant and Dec, Michael Macintyre.....
But as host Carol Vorderman began to tell the tales of devotion and bravery, the only people worth a second glance were the award winners.
Seated at 102 candle lit tables, the 850 strong audience was moved from tears to gales of laughter as the notion of what a star is was turned on its head, and we were left humbled.
Take the first hero, 10 year old Tom Phillips, who drove a tractor into a bull that was trampling his father, or the other end of the age spectrum, 91 year old Tom Lackey, who walks the wings of planes, and had raised over a million pound for charity.
It's people, and nights like this that remind us Britain is not broken. We just need the odd reminder that we are British. Be proud of it, and realize that, if anything, its for people like this we should be saving this world ......
It's heartwarming what these people do. Maybe, just maybe, we can do a little bit too.....

Love: All summed up
Love. 4 simple letters, creating one unprecedented word. What it means exactly, we don't know, but I personally feel the term is thrown around far too loosely.....
You see, most of you know I'm not exactly a "stud" - I believe myself to be a commited guy. I've only ever been in two relationships, 1 for a year and seven months, and 1 that ended up being a total of 8 months. During the course of both of these, I made several mistakes, mistakes that cannot be seen until its far too late. This leads many people to believe I obviously don't know what love is. Well, we will see....
Love, to me, cannot be explained. Something many of us choose to keep hidden close. I feeling that defies words. A feeling that, all by itself, makes your brain realize that this magnificent person you're thinking about means more to you than you. Perhaps the world even.
Then, we have to make a comparative of this to lust. I don't think lust is as negative as everyone makes out. It's the feeling that we need to belong, or we simply like what we see. We've all said "I fancy him/her" , or in chav terminology "I'd tap that" ;), and to me, that's all lust is. A feeling of want. A feeling that isn't usually recognized until someone else takes the person you lust for away.
He all have somebody we think we love. Currently, I think I love someone that will never consider me. They are the friend of an ex, after all. But only time will tell if this is lust.
Love. Just another think we can really explain, but another thing that is explained by doctor who better than anything else:
"You know when sometimes you meet someone so beautiful and then you actually talk to them and five minutes later they're as dull as a brick? Then there's other people, when you meet them you think, "Not bad. They're okay." And then you get to know them and... and their face just sort of becomes them. Like their personality's written all over it. And they just turn into something so beautiful"

About bloody time!
Well, hello there everybody!
I thought it was about time I picked up Blogger.
I've been reading other peoples for ages, I really have. And people always moan at me for expressing my feelings on FB. I feel, maybe, on here, I can be me. Show you all who I actually am, and not the misconceptions you get from my behavior in school, or other peoples stories about me.
So, there you go. I'll be on here regularly, showing everyone exactly what I'm all about. If you wanna know, then all you gotta do is follow and read :)
Not too hard, surely ? ;)
The Marmite Child :-) x
