Love: All summed up

Love. 4 simple letters, creating one unprecedented word. What it means exactly, we don't know, but I personally feel the term is thrown around far too loosely.....

You see, most of you know I'm not exactly a "stud" - I believe myself to be a commited guy. I've only ever been in two relationships, 1 for a year and seven months, and 1 that ended up being a total of 8 months. During the course of both of these, I made several mistakes, mistakes that cannot be seen until its far too late. This leads many people to believe I obviously don't know what love is. Well, we will see....

Love, to me, cannot be explained. Something many of us choose to keep hidden close. I feeling that defies words. A feeling that, all by itself, makes your brain realize that this magnificent person you're thinking about means more to you than you. Perhaps the world even.

Then, we have to make a comparative of this to lust. I don't think lust is as negative as everyone makes out. It's the feeling that we need to belong, or we simply like what we see. We've all said "I fancy him/her" , or in chav terminology "I'd tap that" ;), and to me, that's all lust is. A feeling of want. A feeling that isn't usually recognized until someone else takes the person you lust for away.

He all have somebody we think we love. Currently, I think I love someone that will never consider me. They are the friend of an ex, after all. But only time will tell if this is lust.

Love. Just another think we can really explain, but another thing that is explained by doctor who better than anything else:

"You know when sometimes you meet someone so beautiful and then you actually talk to them and five minutes later they're as dull as a brick? Then there's other people, when you meet them you think, "Not bad. They're okay." And then you get to know them and... and their face just sort of becomes them. Like their personality's written all over it. And they just turn into something so beautiful"
